DESCRIPTION
St Kilda Pier offers panoramic views of the Melbourne skyline and Port Phillip Bay, and is a popular destination for a stroll, cycling, rollerblading and fishing. St Kilda Pier has nearby barbeque, picnic and playground facilities or enjoy a snack from the restored heritage kiosk.
St Kilda Breakwater is home to a colony of Little Penguins. The isolation of the breakwater is an ideal location for them to live. Just before dusk you can view the colony coming ashore from the promenade on the St Kilda Breakwater.
Jumping and diving off the pier and other structures is prohibited for public safety. There are shallow areas and often unexpected submerged objects
Ensure dogs are kept on lead at all times and clean up after your dog. No dogs or cats allowed on the breakwater.
