We’ve just released spaces for our Teen Writing Bootcamps, where budding teen writers can chase their passion and learn from some of Victoria’s best.
The bootcamps, which run over four sessions, offer 13- to 18-year-olds the chance to explore different writing styles, from contemporary fiction to slam poetry, own voices writing to journalism. See the full program here.
Kicking off next week we have the first two bootcamps:
Contemporary fiction with Emily Gale, covering everything from world-building to self-editing, and Own voices writing with Nevo Zisin, where marginalised writers can learn to tell their stories with authenticity and vulnerability.

But this Saturday matinee turned thriller when Wallace found his way onto the city streets – fire brigades and mounted troopers were called in, though in the end it was a city butcher who saved the day.
